Anindya Roy

 

Anindya is an industrial designer with over 7 years of professional experience. He holds a Degree in Transportation Design from IED Turin, in Architecture from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and is passionate about all things mechanical, especially those on wheels.


Anindya began his career in 2007 with a teaching position in the post-graduate Transportation Design programme at the National Institute of Design (NID, Ahmedabad). In 2009, he joined Mozaic Design Services in Goa and played a vital role in various transportation design projects, and also for key design assignments for IFB, Crompton Greaves, ACGL, Indian Railways, Reira Eco Ventures, GE Medical and more. With a keen understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, Anindya's skill set spans from sketch concept creation to detailed drawings & data for production.

 

An active cyclist and outdoors enthusiast, Anindya has combined his interest in cycling with product design skills to design a range of innovative products for cyclists under his pet brand Daarun! Design.

 

 

Garima Aggarwal Roy

 

Garima is a Goa based Furniture and Interior Designer. She is a graduate of CEPT University and National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad and the Instituto Marangoni in London. Her work has been published and awarded in global forums including Elle Decor International Design Awards and Design Quest.

 

Garima is passionate about design for children and recently launched her own line of furniture for children under the brand name of Other-Wise. She regularly consults on projects related to the design of spaces for educational institutes. This journey started with the work she did for Ethos in the playschool furniture segment.


She holds a keen interest in craft and culture, having worked on numerous design projects to bridge the work and crafts of rural communities with urban consumers. These projects include research and design assignments spanning across the country including Tripura, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand.

 

She loves reading, hiking, camping, gardening, and music.
